Resistance 2 beta

So Sony launched a beta for the Ps3 game Resistance 2 today. I think this game has a lot of potential to be good on seeing on how good the original game was. This beta is away for some people to get a hands on look at the game. The thing I hate about betas though is that you cant play it because you have to be real good at the original or you got to go around to 50 different site trying to get registered to play the beta and then wait a day or to for it all to go through. Sure its a good way to advertise to people that have the original game and like the series and there already going to get it but what about the mass audiences that you have to target. At less when you make a free download able demo you can target more people. And a bad way of getting a beta out to the people is to make them buy a game that isn't that goo so that they can get the beta but it can work though depending on the game. this was the case with Halo 3 they told people that you can play the demo if you buy Crack Down which was $60. So i guess its always better to go to 50 different site and wait a day to get the beta that would be buggy as heck.

Crack Down was a good game. I feel that demos can be good or bad for a game. If people like the demo then they will buy the game but if the demo is bad then sales will plummet, even if it is good game when completed. Demos need to be used carefully and need to be released when the company can still have time to fix the game.

I have to agree with markus crackdown was a great game and that weird alien charater guy was the best by far.

im not saying crack down wasnt bad im saying that it was unfair for micro soft to make you buy a 60$ game to play a multiplayer beta for halo 3
